*Kevin jumps up and dodges Kite's staff as he swings at Kevin's legs, then grabs his lightsaber as Kite sends it back to him. Kevin brings his lightsaber up and charges at Kite, and begins a vertical downward slice at Kite's left shoulder, but at the last second he does a horizontal slice across Kite's left thigh.*

*Kite smiles as the Chunin grabs the saber as he sends it spinning back towards Kevin, and then takes a step back as Kevin rushes again, bringing his staff up for the downward slash, then performs a force jump as it changes to a horizontal strike, jumping up and over the blade. He comes back down, not maneuvering behind him, and strikes downwards with the front end of his staff towards Kevin's right shoulder, the uses the staff's design to rotate that into a strike with the back of the staff at his right hip, then steps back and gives the chunin a chance to move back away, or charge yet again.*

*Kevin brings his saber up to defend the strike at his shoulder, but at the last second, senses that Kite instead switched to a strike on his hip. Kevin backflips over Kite's staff, lands, then kicks at Kite's left hip then slices downward at his right shoulder.*

*Kite spins his staff as Kevin backflips and lands, then Kite moves to the right to dodge the kick towards his hip. He then notices the saber moving down towards him and decides to try to get into his face, where his weapons are next to worthless.
He raises his staff to block the slash sent by the chunin and Kite winces, then moves his hand close to the saber and brushes up against it, yelping as his skin starts to burn and uses Force Absorb to attempt to absorb the lightsaber's energy all the way from the pack even and gather it to him as he drops the staff, moving inside Kevin's guard and striking at his face with his right elbow, then attempts to knee him in the stomache.*

*Kevin's lightsaber starts to short out, so Kevin tosses it aside, then ducks under Kite's elbow and spins out of the way of Kite's knee, the attack instead hitting him on his hip. Kevin then sets himself in a defensive position and motions for Kite to make the next move.*

*Kite smiles as his knee impacts Kevin and forces him to back off. He reaches down to grab his staff and walk towards the Chunin, holding the power inside him from the lightsaber and twitching as it starts to hurt to do so. He slowly walks closer to Kevin, then pushes himself closer to Kevin, directly in his face almost, and uses force shock, not having to gather energy to do so due to the energy from the lightsaber, to try to stun him and then steps back and launches two quick jabs, one at his right shoulder and one at his ribs.*

*Kevin deflects Kite's Force Shock with his hands, absorbing some of the energy and letting the rest of it dissipate into the floor. He lowers his right shoulder and dodges Kite's jab, then spins right and dodges Kite's other jab toward Kevin's ribs. Kevin then gathers the energy he absorbed from the Force Shock and picks up two of the nearby benches using Telekinesis and then throws them at Kite.*

*Kite smiles as Kevin absorbs the powerful shock, and dodges my jabs. He grins as he gathers energy, and does the same as two benches rip up and start to fly at me. Kite steps a step towards Kevin and releases his energy, using Force Repulse to send a wave of energy out in all directions, sending the benches easily away and attempting to knock Kevin back. He rushes towards Kevin just after he uses the Force Repulse, swinging his staff horizontally at his right side, then uses the other end, already in position, to take another horizontal strike at his left jaw.*

*Kevin is sent backward a bit from Kite's Force Repulse, but uses the momentum to perform a backflip and he lands on his feet. He sees Kite rush at him and jumps up to dodge the strike at his right side, then ducks as he lands and dodges the second strike aimed at the lefts side of his jaw. Kevin then uses Telekinesis and calls his lightsaber to him and clips it back onto his belt, then takes a few steps back and bows to his brother*Thank you for the challenge, my brother. I really needed the workout. You are a formidable opponent and I am honored to have had this opportunity.OOC: We each have posted 10 attacks/defenses for the duel, so that's why my post is the way it is. *Kite bows to Kevin, then spins his staff in his hand and hits a button, the staff returning to its original state, then turns and strides out of the room, using telekinesis to bring any other belongings to him.*

Kevin that is a perfect example of a last post... You both did really well...
this contest is judged a DRAW... congratulations to both opponents...
