Jael turned her head slightly in Volk's direction keeping her eyes on the scene before her. She could sense he didn't want to be here through the force. "Just go Volk. We'll manage fine." She pulled a datacard out of her vest pocket and handed it to him wistfully. "The codes to getting onto and running my ship. You can use it to finish whatever business you came here for. Just look after her alright?" She kept her eyes on her sister so she didn't change her mind. Lending her ship to someone was something she would never do...usually. "I'll get a ride off-planet with Hana."

[SK]

*SK then reaches up to them, and hears the last bit of conversation that Jael and Volk were having. He then looked to Jael and smiled*

That's right, you and Hana will be leaving here together.

*He then winks at her, and then jumps off the roof and ignites his lightsaber as a red blade is seen coming from the hilt. As he was descending, he pointed his lightsaber blade's tip toward one of the warriors, and attempted to stab the warrior right in the neck area where he has seen that thier armor is at it's weakest. He then turns to Hana, and shouts at her*

Get out of here, and take the youngling with you as well. I will handle this Vong warriors myself!

*He then looked up at Volk and Jael*

Get to the communications tower, and do it quick, I don't know how long I am gonna be able to hold these guys off!

*SK then turned to the warriors he had to deal with at hand, and will hopefully buy them the time that they need to finish whatever it was that they were sent here to do*

Just as the female infidel had pulled out that lightwhip, the warrior closest to her snapped his amphistaff to it's rigid like stated and stood his ground, waiting for her to make the first move, snarling words that could well have been incomprehensible to her as they were in Yuuzhan Vong, attempting to goad her into acting first. If she did not, then he would advance, albeit with new tactics. Ones of his age, did not get to wear the cloak he did, without bearing many hardships and suffering training most would baulk at - his was a conssumate devotion to the gods, and Yun-Yammka was present, with him, he could feel it.

Then the Jeedai they had been persuing originally, shouted something that was just....obsurd.
How very 'infidel' - the notion of sacrificing themselves to save others, how pitiful, how utterly disgusting. Well that had just earned this Jeedai an ignoble death.

The two warriors that had been bringing up the rear of the small party, spun on their heels and faced SK. The one to the left of him, a huge brute, with a slash that split his upper lip and travelled right back over his cranium where it disappeared into his sparse hairline, flicked the amphistaff to return it to it's pliable state, lashing out at SK with the tail-end of the weapon, trying to get it to coil around the Jeedai's ankles, from there he would yank back completely on it, hopefully sending the infidel crashing to the floor.

His counterpart attacked from the other side, with a high-arcing coufee strike, aimed at the infidel's head. Weather he leapt up or fell down, the warrior would hit him unless SK did something drastic like a full retreating move, and this the Yuuzhan Vong hoped for, he could drive him away from the female Jeedai, thus buying the other one among them more time to dispatch or capture her.

Their orders had been very specific....deal with the Jeedai problem, whatever the cost.

Was about to mention a plan when, SK jumped off the roof and into the fight below. Turning to Jael.

"Go save Hana and get her out of that...."

With that, Volk kneels and pulls up his blaster Carbine to his shoulder. Using the sights he aims down the barrel at the second Vong attacking SK(the counter part one ) sending three shots at the center of his chest. It was just to get his attention, but hoped the force was with him and he took him down.

Moving along he aims at the one attacking Hana, and lets three more blasts go aimed at his back, before jumping down off the building. Landing on his feet he slings his blaster carbine and pulls his lightsaber. Igniting it he stands there hoping Jael is doing as he asked her to do.

[Hana Solo]

Hana waited, confused. She didn't know what he was saying. Usually she'd have skimmed the langauge from his mind, but she couldn't directly influence the Force on these guys. Warily, she waited, lightwhip at the ready. Her eyes were narrowed and she hoped Kyla was getting out.

That was when the shots came. Hana blinked, startled, and glanced up to see that Jael had been joined by Volk. With a grin she waved quickly at him, then as he leapt down waved at both him and Sk.

"Company just got worse," she quipped.

TTF to Jael: I can feel Kyla but she could be anywhere! Please, go find her!

Jael watched her two companions jump into the fray. She stayed hidden behind the lip of the roof contemplating what to do next since everyone seemed to be shouting instructions at her. She couldn't see Kyla anywhere....
Her sister's plea through the force decided her and she whispered good luck to them all even though they couldn't hear her.
Stretching out with the force she could feel Kyla. She seemed a fair way off from the battle. Sneaking quietly back away from the edge of the roof she crept along and then used the force to jump to the next building and the next. Careful to keep her eyes open she jumped down off that building into an empty street. Ducking from shadow to rubble she made her way towards where she could feel her neice.

[Hana Solo]

Kyla was lost. In this alien environment, she had no idea where she was going. She could feel her mother, but had no idea where she was. She could feel her Aunty Jael too, but didn't know where to start looking for her. Oh, curses, she thought. This is not good.

Jael slipped around the corner of another building and saw Kyla just as she wwandered down a side ally. Quickening her steps she rounded the corner.
TTF to Kyla: Get your butt to my side right this instant or so help me...
She let herself be seen before disapearing back into the shadows.

[Hana Solo]

Kyla was starting to get scared when she saw Jael and heard her. She ran towards her.

"Aunty Jael!" she cried. "Aunty Jael, thank goodness! I was so lost..."

Jael stepped out of the shadows and clamped her hand over Kyla's mouth hard.
"Shut it!" she whisper yelled feircly. "Do you want to bring the whole frakkin Vong force down on us?"
Pulling her back into the shadows she took her hand off Kyla's mouth and brought her finger to her lips to silence her.
TTF to Hana: I found her, shall I take her to the ship??

[Hana Solo]

Kyla's eyes were wide as she shook her head. "Aunty..." she whispered after Jael took her hand away. "I'm sorry..."

Hana felt almost weak with relief. TTF: Yes, please. And keep her there. I'll take you out too.

TTF to Volk: I have Kyla and am taking her back to the ship where she will be safer. Good luck!
Ignoring Kyla's whispered apology Jael set off in the direction of Hana's ship dragging Kyla after her. Keeping hidden was not as easy with Kyla in tow. Remind me why I have gotten into this mess again? she thought to herself grimly.

[Hana Solo]

"Aunty!" Kyla protested. "Mum! We have to save Mum!"

[jaelxaden]

Jael turned and actually growled at Kyla. "Two people are doing that already! Let her concentrate without having to worry about you. We need to get to the ship and have it prep'd for take off."
Hurrying along they reached the ship quickly and Jael opened it grinning to herself that she had finally managed to get her sister's codes a few weeks back.

Kyla went into the cockpit and started prepping the ship and remotely changed the codes during the process.
