Dueling Code of Conduct:
1) All duelists must declare ALL weapons they have on them (2nd saber, dart gun, rocket pack etc) as well as any armor before a duel begins.
2) Duelists must DEFEND their opponent’s moves (or take a hit from them) then ATTACK. (There MAY be posts where the defender does NOT immediately attack and only THREE such passes will be allowed per duel.)
The MAXIMUM moves allowed per attack are THREE. (NOTE: This does not mean you MUST use all three attacks, but only that you may NOT use more than three.)
ATTACK moves are BOTH with a weapon(s), item(s) (IE: Bench, boulder, rocks, etc), Unarmed (IE: Hand to hand) and/or Force power. If a move consists of more than one strike, each strike will be counted.
NO NPC’s for any reason are to be used in dueling. (IE: Force Drain on an NPC to boost energy. Force drain is an illegal force power anyway. And this would be an inappropriate action.)
2a) There will be NO attacks mid-defense, exceptions being:
You’re defense move consists of using a PLAUSIBLE distraction/reaction thus negating with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, all following moves or your defense CAN (if accepted) Cause injury to your attacker… IE: Using sharp end of blade at the offending extremity or body part but is NOT a DIRECT attack.
3) Only a maximum of ONE OFFENSIVE force power per turn and ONE DEFENSIVE.
Exceptions:
Force Jump - Only allowed 3X per duel. (Will count as force used only when used offensively)
Force Speed (Will count as force used only when used offensively, IE: Quicken Movements as in strikes.)
4) Defending a Force Attack: If a force power is said to happen instantaneously (That is without any delay such as Force Blind which is instantaneous) then the person who is attacked is said to be suffering from that attack. Unless the defense is one that is PLAUSABLE.
(IE: Can conceivably shelter their eyes, Mandalorian HUD, but NOT direct/ face to face vision, which WOULD be affected, However, other vantage points would be unaffected. Ex: behind)
In RP you can use anything you want against NPC's. But in PC duels the above is now in effect.
