"And you would call me the right hands?" MCD says with a slight laugh to Jade as Thalis readies his weapons. MCD takes solace in the fact that Jade doesn't suspect he isn't Ire, it will allow him to act a bit more freely.
"Milord, I will send for two squads to assist us in finding what it is you are seeking." Thalis says as he begins typing in the codes on his comlink.
"That isn't necessary, Major." MCD says with a slightly indicative tone. Thalis doesn't agree but abides by his Lordship's orders. MCD's eyes narrow in anticipation of the coming adventure. It might be Ire's ghost come back to haunt MCD. He might not want to go through with it. Then again, it could be something cool, like a Sith amulet or scepter of power... it all seems like one big game to him. "Y'all ready for a little fun?"
Without further word, MCD begins to follow the same sound he had heard so clearly. "power... ultimate power..."

~She nods to Ire and begins to follow him~
Well no Ire but better then some I assure you.
~She smooths out her robe and un-clicks her light saber~
Is it talking to you or just humming?
~She moves closer to MCD and Mathis.~

"I'm hearing clearly and then uncleanly and then clearly again." MCD says and then giggles. "It kinda makes me feel like I'm going crazy or something.
MCD turns around a corner and begins walking down the long corridor of the palace. He passes by door after door as he walks with his party in tow, Thalis making sure to look behind them every now and then to make sure they weren't being followed by someone or something. MCD then stops suddenly in the middle of the hallway as if told to and begins looking around.
"power... unlimited power..."

~She nibbles on her lip and nods~
That is odd..
~When he stops she runs into him and then backs up. When she backs up she runs into Mathis. His hands come up to steady her.~

MCD turns his head towards the door to his left and approaches it cautiously. He puts his hands on the door handles and is about to open it when Thalis jumps in. "Milord, maybe I should open that instead..." "Okieday..." MCD says as he then moves aside the for the head of palace security to open the door. "I forget you're hear to get shot first." As the doors fly open, MCD shoots a lightsaber out from its concealment in his right sleeve and activates it. "AVAST!" MCD shouts, but as the door sensor activates the lights in the room, MCD realizes he has opened a door to some type of archive, there is a long tunnel that seems to end several meters down lined with several shelves of holobooks and datapads. "Oh, ehem..." MCD coughs as he deactvates his saber and returns his lightsaber to its appropriate spot. MCD inspects the tunnel carefully, looking for traps of any kind. "I must have forgotten about this place." |

~She walks in and Mathis stands next to her ~

"The palace is rather big, not even I'm sure where everything is kept." MCD says, assuming that Ire probably has secret stuff hidden all over this palace. MCD begins to walk into the room and scoping out items on the shelves. He picks up the datapad and clicks it on, reading the title. "Secrets of Shatterpoint, so that's where I left it."
As he looks around a little more, MCD then hears the voice clearly. "power... unlimited power... and its yours for the taking...." MCD looks up sharply and begins walking towards the wall at the end of the tunnel, as if drawn towards it.

Only you would build such a huge place.
~She follows him and as they get closer she places a hand to her stomach. Her face pales and she fights for calm.~
What ever it is Ire is holds much darkness.
~Her voice a whisper in the large room. Mathis reaches out a hand and touches her shoulder.~
You are very pale Jade.
~He watches MCD as he moves closer to where ever MCD is heading. He pulls Jade along but holds her slightly to him.~

"I'm not entirely sure, Major." MCD shakes his head as he walks towards a shelf at the end of the tunnel. He comes to a shelf of old books that look like they have seen much in way of history of the galaxy. MCD runs his hands over a section of old books on the shelf before stopping over a rather old looking book. "Oh what do we have here?" |

~She moves back and leans against the book stack, tired~

As MCD opens to inspect the book, the pages are blank inside it. MCD tilts his head to the side in utter confusion. "Well, I'm at a loss for wor..."
MCD stops mid sentence when he realizes the the floor is moving, and so is he. As he looks to the wall, it appears the book triggered a pressure sensor that activated a door to secret dark passage. When the wall section stops, there is a nice size passage that seems to lead down a flight of stairs, deeper into the palace. "So, who wants to go down the deep dark tunnel first?"

~She steps back as the floor opens and Mathis pulls out his gun~

~He looks into Jade's worried eyes and gives her a smile. He flexes his hand steps to the opening.~

MCD lets Thalis lead the way as they go into the dark tunnel and walks closer to Jade. "Oh this is exciting... I got goosebumps!"

~Mathis walks slowly down into the darkly light Tunnel. He pulls out his long decorated sword. Jade smiles~
Now that is wicked how do I get me one of those things?

"Yes." MCD says plainly as if distracted by something. As he nears the bottom of the steps he sees the flicker of flame on the stones of the floor. The scene begins to turn from secretive passage to dimly lit dungeon, its rather creepy to see the door way open to reveal a large chasm of a room with a single walkway that seen to fall off into darkness.
"Alright, no I think I would remember having this built..." MCD says and then moves up towards Thalis. "Alright, what is this place?"
"I'm not sure, milord. It would appear you have secrets even I don't know about." Thalis replies as the group makes their way into the large room and down the narrow passage. That is when a non familiar roar is heard off in the distance. "And I don't remember seeing any reports of keeping live stock around either, sir."
"Wonderful... just wonderful."
