Fett Homestead

[Grainne Fett]

"That's your dad, rough and gruff but also loving and tender. One of the reasons I finally decided to marry him. You know he and I where to be married 5 years ago? Nodding she laughs."Pap had me betrothed to him, and well we didn't hit it off so well. We went our separate ways and well, you kiddo brought us back. Taking her daughter's hand she looks at the moons.

[Kyla Fett]

" You and Dad are perfect together Mom...even I can see that." * She puts her head on her mothrs shoulder and the vision returns to her mind *

[Kyla Fett]

* They both sit there for awhile not saying a word until Grainne says * " Well I think we both better get some sleep Kiddo before your Father sends out the hounds to find us..." * Both giggle as they stand up and enter the house. They head upstairs to their rooms and Kyla hugs her mother and says * "Sleep well Mom..I love you." Grainne smiles and says * " I know Kiddo we love you as well.." * The door opens and her father is standing there in his sweatpants his muscular frame filling the doorway his arms and biceps covered in strange cryptic tattoo's she cannot even read .. She is still amazed this man can be so gentle one moment and ready to rip the galaxy apart the next..* " Sleep well my daughter " * He kisses her head . Her mom enters the room as the door closes... she heads to her room and decides to com Cait about her vision.*

[Kyla Fett]

* She ends her talk with Cait . But the doubt is still in her mind.. what if it does happen the nagging voice says in her mind.. she sighs and changes for bed and crawls under the covers and drifts into a restless sleep....*

[Grainne Fett]

Awaking early, she goes to the refresher and gets cleaned up. Dressing and heading down stairs, she runs into the wall of Kal and Walon. They drag her to the office and take her 'shopping'. "Gran'ika, you need weapons." Walong says in his deep rich voice. Kal pipes up with,"Vod, you need proper protection also." Nine commandos come into the office all dressed in their beskar'gam and buy'ce. Shaking her head she looks at Kal,"All checked by you vod?" Kal nods an affirmative. Walon pulls her head to him. "Grainne, this is not time to joke, pick your weapons dala!" Walon scares her with the look on his face and she frowns.
Picking the heavy repeater, a ripper, disintegrator, and a beskad. All the commandos will have their own weapons as well as a Mythosaur axe.

Sitting back and talking with the commandos, Kal, and Walon, she feels more comfortable with the men. One of the commandos smiles at Grainne."Go big or go Home dala." Smiling she giggles and high fives the Mandalorian."Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it!" One of the Commandos calls out to Grainne. "Kandosii Vod!"" She calls back to the commando.

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

Mara lands the ship near the homestead and shuts it down.

"Ready to go see Grainne?"

"Yeah!" Ben unbuckles from his seat and hops down. He runs for the ramp, slapping the release once he reaches it.

Mara makes it to the ramp just as it sets down on the ground. She and Ben exit the ship, hoping to meet with Grainne and unload the ysalamiri.

[Grainne Fett]

Looking out the window, she sees Mara's ship on the pad."O'SIK, it's Mara!" Grabbing Walon and Kal she runs out and meets Mara, Luke and her son Ben tagging behind looking at the sights. "Master Skywalker and Ben, what are you doing here?" Bowing to Mara and hugging Ben. Walon and Kal cough behind her and she turns and blushes."Pardon my manors vod. This is Mara Skywalker and her son Ben. She is a fellow council member as well as Jedi master." The men nod to her and Ben.

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

Mara smiles at Grainne and the men. "Come on, Grainne, don't be so formal." She looks at the men. "Please, just call me Mara. I have the ysalamiri you'll need for Ossus. They're in the cargo hold if you want to get them. Or tell me where you want them."

[Grainne Fett]

"Mara we will put them on the Banshee's Wail for you dala. Ben would you like to help us?"Kal looks at Mara and Grainne, taking Ben's hand, they head to the Shadow. Going to the cargo hold, Kal and Walon cart the ysalamiri to the Wail. Ben scampers up and down the ramp and stops dead when he sees vod in full baskar'gum and buy'ce. "Mara, you know how I am ever the proper Jedi. Ben seems to fit in around here. Also, thank you again for bringing me my new pets. They will be right useful on Ossus." Walking towards the Wail, she looks at Ben."Hey kiddo, you can talk to the vod. They will not harm you. Trust me, they are here to protect me and the family."

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

"Not a problem, Grainne." Mara watches Kal and Walon unload the ysalamiri and keeps an eye on Ben. "Just remember that they have to be kept on those branches, otherwise they'll die and won't be useful. When I worked with Karrde, we attached straps to the branches so we could wear them on our backs."

Ben walks up to Kal and knocks on his armor. "Why do you wear all this for?"

[Grainne Fett]

Grainne nods and thinking about it."Keep one strapped to me and the other two will be closer to us."
Kal looks down at Ben and takes off his buy'ce."Ad'ika, it is for our protection when we go into battle. It is also out of tradition. You see how your Buir and Grain'ika wear the sabers, that is their tradition. Ours is the baskar'gum and buy'ce." Kal places his buy'ce on Ben's head, and activates the HUD. The three hundred and six degree viewer is going off and Ben bellows, "WHOA MOM THIS IS COOL! I Want one!"

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

Mara laughs at the sight of Ben in the too-large helmet. "Your father would kill me if I spent credits on an authentic Mando helmet. Take it off before you break it and thank Kal for letting you try it out."

"Aww, okay." Ben takes the helmet off and hands it back to Kal. "Thanks for letting me try on your helmet, Kal!"

"We'd better get going before he wants his own jetpack too." Mara steps forward and hugs Grainne. "Please be careful with Starkiller, Grainne. He seems hellbent on sharing his hurt with everyone, so he won't hesitate to kill you or those close to you. And also, congratulations to you and Jango."

[Grainne Fett]

Hugging Mara back, she frowns. "If he dares to hunt anyone here Mara, there will be hell to pay! Jango will be upset he missed you, but duty does call as you know!"
Leaning down she hugs Ben and kisses his cheek. "I will get you a buy'ce Ben'ika, I promise!" Grainne whispers in Ben's ear. Watching Kal put his buy'ce on his kama, he and Walon shake hands with Ben then Mara. Watching the two leave, she stands and waves to them.

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

Ben and Mara enter the ship and head for the cockpit. Ben sits in the copilot seat, but does not have the duties of a copilot. Mara's hands fly over the controls as she gets the ship ready to fly and starts the sublight engines.

"Mom, can I fly next time? I've been watching you and Dad, and it doesn't look hard at all."

"Tell you what, Ben. Ask me again in ten years and then I'll let you fly."

"Okay." he replies, not realizing exactly how long ten years is.

Mara takes the ship to orbit.

Kal looks at Grainne."On it vod." Walon coms the armory and has a buy'ce made for Ben. Lauging she heads back to the house with the men and relax a little with the commandos. Giving the directions on the ysalamiri placement and how they must be kept on the limbs, the commandos nod and understand everything that is asked of them from her, Jango, Kyla, Kal and Walon.
