Grinning ear to ear she bounces Ben on her knee. "He's fine Mara. the worst damage he'll manage is undoing my hair and that's an easy fix really. Unlike Leia, my hair style only takes HALF an hour." She grins and replaces a cracker in Ben's hand for her dark cinnabar curls.
She gives Pappy a dour look. "If you're in the dog house so much perhaps you should consider worrying about fleas." She winks at him.

Laughs at Gert's comment "Hey now...I'm not like your corellian buddy Han.." He leans back in his chair " I'm not Scruffy like him." Looking at Luke he asks " So did you sense her arrival to or is Gert the only one that's "special" here."

"I think she does that intentionally Luke. I used to get commands like that from her. Go do this... ok, how.. oh, however you want, just have things this way at this time for me ok Gert?" She gives Mara an impish grin. "You got me in more trouble just following orders. Didn't you realize my version of get it done didn't involve anything related to the Jedi code?"

"You did great Mara. I had some big shoes to fill when I finally stepped in." Luke finishes his meal. He pushes his plate to the side and takes Mara's hand in his. "I really am glad to have you guys back."

Mara lays her head on Luke's shoulder. "Even with the threat of sounding like a broken holo, I'm glad we are home."

Luke's comm goes off. "Excuse me, I need to take this."
Luke heads over to the corner, talks excitedly, gesturing with his hands. He makes his way back to the table.
"I'm sorry, but I'm needed elsewhere. I'll try to make it back before too long. If I don't find you here, I'll check messages in my office and in the Temple for you." Luke leans over and kisses Ben's forhead, then leans in and kisses Mara. "I'll see you later."
Luke then exits the Tap Cafe.
